“As of yesterday afternoon, Zuckerberg said over 650 students had registered use [sic] thefacebook.com.”
Not a “sic” - the URL originally had a “the” which disappeared in 2005 when they bought the articleless domain.
Oh believe me of course I remember Thefacebook (and who could forget its mascot “that guy” in the corner of the page!?)…plus, doesn’t [sic] go after that which it is describing? I meant more that the sentence as read just didn’t make grammatical sense to me — shouldn’t there be an “of” in there?
